Head JV Coach
Pete Volpe
Coach Pete has coached youth hockey for over 25 years. He has coached Central States AA for the Chicago Blues, Huskies and Darien Hawks. He has also coaches for Lyons Township High School. Coach Pete is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Functional Athlete in Countryside, IL. As a player, he played AAA, Junio B, and at the NCAA level for UIC in 1981. He is a level 4 certified coach.

Assistant JV Coach
Tim Andersen
Coach Tim has been coaching hockey since 2010. He has coached at the Chicago Hawks, Lyons Townnship at the Varsity/JV level and JV for Hindsdale Central. In the off-season, Coach Tim, as an outdoorsman, likes to hunt and fish.

Goalie Coach
Jared Shadle
Jared's playing career included the Chicago Hawks and was a 4-year goalie playing Division 2 at Illinois State University. Jared was President of Illinois State's Hockey Program in 2021 and excelled academically making Dean's List from 2020-2022. Jared mentored three Division 1 goalies as a senior at Illinois State, as well as experience in coaching Chicago Hawks goalies starting in 2018. Jared worked under Ross McKay with the Hawks organization during weekly goalie instruction and many of his coaching philosophies have been honed through that experience. In Jared's own words, his coaching philosophies for his goalies include: "Never giving up on a puck, active legs and hands, leading with the stick, short term memory on goals given up, and playing for the love of the game."

Julian Kavouras #48

Favorite memory: Ann Arbor Michigan Tournament Fall Colours Championship.
Pregame meal: Banana and peanut butter and pancakes.
Superstition: Putting my right skate on before my left.
Fun Fact: I like to play Fortnite and Siege.


Josh Sokolov #7
I play defense for Eagles Hockey Club.
How long have you been playing hockey? 9 years.
Favorite memory: Going to all the hockey tournaments.
Pregame meal: Bowl of fruit.
Superstition: Not getting dressed until 10 minutes before the game.
Fun Fact: I have gone to Russia 2xs.


Reily Gudenau #10
I play center for the team.
How long have you been playing hockey? 11 years.
Favorite memory: Beating Brother Rice in Wisconsin tournament.
Pregame meal: Pasta and protein bar.
Superstition: Write families initials on tape.
Fun Fact: I was born in Omaha, Nebraska

Alex Stelter #13
I play left wing for the Eagles.
How long have you been playing hockey? 10 years.
Favorite memory: Hanging with my team-traveling and winning the Madison Tournament.
Pregame meal: Pasta
Superstition: Listening to the same song on repeat and taping my stick each game.
Fun Fact: I like basketball.

Favorite memory: Friend's that I have made playing hockey.

Superstition: Put on my right skate first.
Fun Fact: I can speak Polish.

I play Center for the Eagles Hockey Club.
How long have you been playing hockey? 10 years.
Favorite memory: Madison Tournament.
Pregame meal: whatever I am feeling.
Superstition: Always put my left skate on first.
Fun Fact: I like to fish just as much as I like to play hockey.
I play Center for the Eagles Hockey Club. I've played hockey for 9 years and this will be my 10th. My favorite memories from hockey have to be all the times hanging out with the team while on Eagles. My favorite player has always been Patrick Kane.

Riley Sweeney #18

Favorite memory: Winning the Championship in Notre Dame.

Superstition: Eating Subway before my game.
Fun Fact: I want to be a fighter pilot.


Adrian Guros #79

Favorite memory: Scoring winning goal at state and winning the CCM Tournament.

Superstition: I tape my stick before every game.
Fun Fact: I met Marion Hossa on my very first day of practice.

Superstition: I believe black tape gives me more luck than white tape.
Fun Fact: Me and my family travel a lot.
